This largest of the archipelago delivered before wars 65% of the entire rice production and their population, the Tagalogs, are the main rice-planter and major rice consumer. They are among the Malayan Filipinos the most aggressive and self-reliant. With the exception of the south inhabitant Vosyans they are the most numorous.
